Allison's Visit

To explain the purpose of this blog:

Allison, one of mommies best friends, came to visit us from Kansas. She is part of my fan club. She supported mommy all through her pregnancy and even visited me at the hospital. She brought me some awesome educational books for Christmas that I got to open all by myself. They are about all kinds of cool things like the solar system, owls, and plants. We also went on an awesome nature hike and out to eat at the Cosmic Cafe.

Holiday Fun in Richardson

(I can't get the lines to disappear so bare with me). The other night Mommy and Daddy took me to the Richardson Library to look at lights! They built a whole little village for kids to enjoy like me. I got to right a lit up polar bear and peek inside all the mini houses. Great Grandma Share and Great Grandpa Jim also went. I think I was blind after all the pictures. Can you believe that every body was all buddled up but Daddy wore a Tshirt?. He's silly. Here are the pics from our adventure. I hope we get to go back and look at the lights one more time before they take them down.

5 months old wohoo!!!!!!

Hey everyone. I am now 5 months old. Cool Huh? I am sitting up nicely and even eating baby food. I tried my first food on Sunday with Mommy and Daddy (video camera in hand of coarse). It was green beans. I made a really gross face but continued to eat it. Mommy had to start me on food because I stopped sleeping through the night and was waking up almost 3 times to eat. So now I eat cereal in the morning, green beans for lunch, and cereal & food for dinner.

Mommy has been taking me for lots of walks lately. She bundles me up in the maya wrap and we go exploring. The other day we collecting all kinds of colorful leaves that I tried to eat. We always take Kila with us of coarse. Oh yeah, we had to get rid of the puppy because Mommy couldn't keep up with us both.

Coming up soon will be my first Christmas. We won't be going out of town so mommy has decorated the house all neato. The tree is 6 1/2 feet tall and there is a stalking for me on the mantel.

Thanksgiving

WOW. What a day! We went over to my great uncle's house and there were tons of people. I didn't nap all day and I was the center of attention (besides foot ball of coarse.) I didn't get to eat any food but it all sure look yummy. Check out the pictures from my first thanksgiving.

Oh yeah by the time mommy went to buy me a special thanksgiving outfit they were ALL OUT, but I still looked cute as always.

Just to let my fans know. I have been sitting up nicely. In one wrong move I tobble over but I am learning to balance my self with my arms. I set up a tripod by grabbing my ankles. I also had my 4 month check up a week ago. Although, the shots hurt and made me have a crummy day after wards, we did hear nothing but good news. I am 16 lbs and 13 ounces and 26.5 inches long!!! They said I was in the 80 percentile. I met all my developmental checkpoints and even have ones that I am not "suppose" to be a able to do yet. The nurse suggested mommy and daddy start me on some food because I am eating so much cereal and etc. I don't know if mommy is ready for me to grow up that much yet.

Have I ever mentioned that my parents are "animal addicts". Well the neighbors dog had puppies and they fell in love with this little guy. I like him, as long as he doesn't try to steal my spotlight. I am the king around here!!! ;) Anyway, we have not decided officially on a name but he sure is cute. He likes to climb all over me and lick me. I think its funny and grab his ears and try to eat him.

Here are some pictures of me eating rice cereal. I LOVE THIS STUFF. I am once again sleeping through the night because I have a full belly. I am such a big boy. I eat it twice a day for breakfast and dinner. Unfortunately since I am such a big boy Thursday I have my fourth month check up and I have to get 5 shots! Its going to be rough but with some TLC I should do just fine. Wish me luck.
