Just good ones of me

Here are some photos of me just being silly and cute. I love wearing my shades they make me feel sooooo cool. The one of me in the wagon is for when Aunt Sophia took me for a walk. She is a great babysitter.

Malachi's Table

This is the new table that Mommy and Daddy bought for my birthday with some of the gift cards I have. I am learning how to color!

Mommy caught me being so cute and funny today. I was being sort of a crank pot and nothing was really "pleasing" me so Mommy left the room to get me a drink. Well I KNEW WHAT I WANTED!! Hahaha. I went over to the tv and quickly turned it on. Then hurried to lay on the pillow and prop my feet up on a lion. The show who wants to be a millionaire was on I was laughing and clapping with the people on the show. What I didn't know is that Mommy was watching the whole thing!!!!

Me at a year

So I bet everyone is wondering how things are going and what new awesome things I am doing. So here it is...

I have been walking really well since Mothers Day (10 months) and now I can run and climb stairs. I am even pretty good in a " baby" pool. I walk around in the water and splash around but in the big person pool I cling to mommy and/or daddy for dear life.

My vocabulary grows everyday. I mimic words a lot but they are not clear as they should be just yet. I have put together phrases such as "mommy look" "come here" "let me go" "all done". I recognize the color red a lot of the time, but then love the praise so I start calling everything red. I know a lot of animals names really well. I also know how to say and recognize up/down.

I am great at throwing balls and kicking them. I can climb on and off things with the occasional "boom boom".

I have a great new table and chairs that Mommy likes to try and make me color at. The coloring is interesting but I prefer to eat the weird marker things.

I demand to feed myself. As of this current week I have been using the spoon very well and cry if Mommy or Daddy helps to much.

I drink milk but don't really like it, but I do not take ANY bottles anymore.

I overheard Mommy telling Daddy that the pacifier is next. That scares me. Even though I do not use it during the day at all anymore I still sleep with it at night and during naps.

Well, I guess that is one year old Malachi in a nutshell.

FIRST BIRTHDAY

WE DON'T HAVE ALL THE PICTURES YET BUT HERE ARE A FEW GOOD ONES! IT WAS A BLAST. WE HAD NEARLY 40 PEOPLE THERE (AND THAT WAS ALL PRETTY MUCH FAMILY). I HADE A YUMMY VERY DECRATIVE CAKE AND GOT TONS OF GREAT GIFTS. I ACTUALLY MADE IT THROUGH THE WHOLE PARTY WITHOUT GETTING UPSET. CAN'T WAIT TIL NEXT YEAR.
